As the Christmas Holidays are vastly approaching and we look back
on the year we’ve just had and look back at the most popular beauty treatments for 2018. I often wonder what’s next for 2019?
Microblading was the most requested treatment and many clients undergoing other beauty treatments were often curious to what it actually entails.
Natural looking Brows really kick started 2018 off with clients wanting brows that shaped the face but without it being obvious.
Towards the end of the year it evolved in to Micro-shading, the powered brow, giving a more stronger defined look- More filled in without looking too heavy. Microblading is about giving back people’s confidence and saving them time at getting ready. With our busy schedule it made Microblading the most sought after treatment of 2018.
2017 was all about the contour/highlighter make up look and this year was more about the feather stroke brow (soft and Natural) or Insta Brow (Bold Powdery).
So we ask ourselves what has next year got in store for us? Will the bold brow be sticking around? or will skincare be more of a thing as celebrities move away from fillers? I for one can’t wait to discover new treatments and have my fingers and toes crossed for something simple to treat tired eyes. 🤞🏻
