Compulsory Skin Patch Test

Service Description

A skin patch test is required at least 24-48 Hours before your treatment. •FYI- A patch test doesn’t need to be carried exactly 24-48 hours before the treatment, that is just the minimum amount of time that can be left before doing the treatment to allow for a reaction, you are welcome to book this in more in advance as you like. A Patch test is a compulsory requirement for any treatment using Glue,Tint, Lash Lifting products or pigments that potentially could contain ingredients that could cause an allergic reaction. Although a patch test minimises your chances of a reaction, there is still a small risk of having a delayed reaction, although very rare. If you’re questioning whether you really need a skin patch test, it is required to protect and minimise your chances of having an allergic reaction to a product used during certain treatments, especially if the product is intended for use on your eyes/face. Pop in and a small amount of the product will be placed behind your ear or on the fold of your arm. The patch test only needs to be worn on the area for up to 2 hours before you can get the area wet. If you book an appointment but cannot find an available appointment for a patch test please let us know and we can try & fit you in. If you haven’t had a patch test your treatment will mot be carried out. The patch test is compulsory.

• Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange . If you have a temperature, cough, cold or a headache, please cancel your appointment and we can rearrange for a different day- This is very important to minimise the risk to others.
